Our story

Life feels better when we slow down.

The Retreat at Magnolia Springs was created from a simple belief: life feels better when we slow down.

Scott and Kristi are husband and wife, business partners, and, most importantly, best friends. They share a genuine passion for hospitality, meeting new people, and the outdoors. Their dream of creating a place where people could gather, rest, and reconnect began in 2025, when Scott asked for her hand in marriage.

The name Magnolia Springs holds a special place in their hearts. It was chosen in memory of Kristi's mother, whose favorite flower was the magnolia. Its graceful blooms became a meaningful symbol of beauty, warmth, and the love that continues to guide this place.

Inspired by that legacy and their shared love of bringing people together, Scott and Kristi imagined a retreat that feels both grounding and special, a place where the outdoors is part of every stay, but comfort is never left behind.

Here, mornings begin with birdsong and coffee in the fresh air. Days are meant for wandering, resting, exploring, and reconnecting. Evenings invite you to gather beneath the stars, share stories, and enjoy the kind of quiet that is hard to find anywhere else.

There is something here for everyone: a romantic escape for couples, a place for families to make new traditions, a gathering spot for friends, and a peaceful reset for solo travelers. Whether you are celebrating a milestone, seeking adventure, or simply craving a slower pace, you are welcome here.

More than a campground, Magnolia Springs is a tribute to a life well loved, and a place built by two best friends who believe the best memories are made when we slow down and enjoy them together.

Come stay awhile. Leave with memories that linger.
